CAMPAIGN PRIORITIES
Quality Affordable Housing Options for Everybody
Missoula is experiencing a serious housing crisis, with skyrocketing rental prices and a shortage of affordable housing options. This crisis is affecting families, seniors, and students alike, and it is vital that we work to create more affordable housing options for all members of our community. As a City Council member, I will incentivize the development of affordable housing, and prioritize making housing accessible and attractive for all incomes.
Sustainable Development & Smart Growth
Missoula is a rapidly growing city, and it is important that we manage that growth in a responsible and sustainable way. We need to balance the need for new development with the need to protect our natural resources and preserve the character of our neighborhoods. As a City Council member, I will work to promote sustainable growth and development that benefits both our economy and our environment.
Community Wide Safety, Health and Well-Being
Missoula is a safe and welcoming community, but we still face challenges related to crime and public safety. It is important that we work together to ensure that all members of our community feel safe and supported. As a City Council member, I will advocate for increased funding for mental health, crisis and addiction services, while also working to educate, train and improve our police and other responders in their community safety efforts.
Ready to hear what's important to YOU.
